Our
city have too many names: Saint-Petersburg, Northern Venice, Leningrad
and other... All these names reflecting the pages in a history of
our city. But all citizen using one domestic name of my lovely city
- "Piter"
Welcome
to "Piter" from
“SVETLANA’S
FASHION”
We
are pleasure show to you a wonderfull landscope of Vasilievskiy
island from height of bird's fly.

And
though that a sunny days isn't a very often at our places (north
is north), rain and snow is more usual for our city, but visit in
beautiful sunny day will given to you unforgettable impression from
our city. At rain or snow days you will have a same impression,
if will not windy...
By train –
36-40 hours, by ship -2 days, by plane– only 2 hours (from
Europe...). Northern Venice, the city of the museums and bridges
and very intelligent people... The city is 300 years old only but
it's very famous and popular. In soviet times it was named as "The
City of three Revolutions“, but today it's named as „the
City of russian Kings“. There're many books about St. Petersburg
and in Internet you can see and find a lot, but I want to show you
a little travel in pictures around of St. Petersburg.
If you are coming for 2-3 days only, what are you be able to see
here? Nothing!
And it's very pity... St. Petersburg is one of the biggest cities
of Russia with 5 Mio. people who are living here! If you decided
for yourself to visit St. Petersburg and you come direct to St.
Petersburg by plane, the first you'll see – it's our international
airport. You can of course to take an Taxi, but it's too expensive.
If you'll book your travel by travel agency your transfer will be
inclusive, if no– than go by bus to the underground-station
(Metro). The airport is not in the city inside.

So, the half of the day is lost. If you like you can walking in
the city and seeing at houses and palaces. It's really beautiful!
Small streets and large Prospects, "small" houses and
and big palaces...
If you'll come in summer, specially since end of May till end of
July, than you see what we named „White Nights“. If
you are going to visit the Hermitage, than you have to decide for
which epoch in the world culture you are interested. To see the
whole collection of the Hermitage you have to visit it during 3
months every day, there're hundreds of halls with pictures, illustrations,
sculptures, a lot of old things ..
The
summer in St. Petersburg is very beautiful: White Nights, Fontaines
in Petershof, Parks in Pawlovsk, Puschkin(Tsarskoje Selo), Oranienbaum
and Gatschina. And some Sea-seesightings of St. Petersburg: go from
the Hermitage to Petershof by speed-boat „Metheor“ or
„Kometa“, and one else – seeing the seesightings
from boat (both are in summer only!) . We recomend to you to visit
Kronstadt and to walk through these small and short streets, which
are made with cast iron ... Have you ever seen it?..
